What lane do you run?

    I get asked this question every so often and I'm not sure what the answer is supposed to be.

    Express lane? Maybe 10 items or less?
    Seriously though I'm guessing that term came from a mega corporation that coined the phrase and it was passed down to everyone else

    I'm not sure what they are talking about.
    My guess is there is a book out there titled,

    How to Talk to Truck Drivers.

    Chapter 1, What lane do you run?

    Chapter 2, Do you need a backhaul?

    Chapter 3, Tell the drivers 10-4 when your done talking to them.
