Will any company hire me

Dismissal mean no conviction, right? The questions were something like “have you ever been convicted of a crime.” I’m not a lawyer but pretend I know something about everything.

 

No absolutes. If you look hard enough you should find something. However if you are being supervised on probation forget OTR for a while.

 

Sounds s like wait until it’s dismissed and then you have a clean record. Right?

 

Talk to several companies before finishing school. If you cannot find one to hire you, then I would suggest you try something a bit sneaky.

Ask your school if you can defer graduation until you have completed your intervention.

That way you will have a fresh graduation under your belt when you apply to different companies.

You will probably want to arrange for some yard time with your school shortly before your deferred graduation, if they allow it, so you won't be too rusty when you get in a truck with a trainer.

Try PI&I Motor Express in Masury, Ohio; this company hires felons and ex-cons right out of prison. It's also Teamsters, so you can be vested for a lifetime pension after working there 5 years.

 

I sometimes stay at a Holiday Inn Express, does that count!
