Agreed. And ELD's throw another wrench into the shower pipeworks. No more flexibility, you stop that truck but your 14-hour clock keeps on ticking. And many truckstops are filled to the brim by 1700. Who's gonna pay to park just to take a shower?

Lots of deodorant and many quarters fed in those cologne spray stations. Sometimes those cologne covered "dudes" are worse than the "stinkers au natural"!

I just paid 14 dollars for a shower at Demming, NM Petro. 6 dollars for a load of laundry. I don’t ever fuel at TA/Petro and now that I’m back to open deck, I can’t let a shower slide for more than a couple of days. And I can’t really wear the same thing more than maybe twice at most. Forgot how dirty this work is.
