Getting my truck PM service today and get a call from Mercer.....Your coordinators off today I'm so and so they have you matched up on this load to the Bronx. I said no way and he said he would keep looking. I called my wife to pick me up to take me home and start looking for my own loads for Monday. I think I will tell my coordinator he needs to let me know when he's taking time off in advanced because this dude is annoying.

 

Scan in a copy of the fuel ticket with your bol.

Edit: there is a limit per advance. 1500 (i think) is the most it will allow at once. Have you been trying to load more? If so that's the problem.

 

Does anyone know what the max I can write a efs check for? My repair will be 5400. Will it let me write it for that?

 

There is no max as long as you got the funds in your account to cover it.

 

Thank you for the reply......I knew you would have the answer. No, In all cases it was around $100.00 dollars which was less then the available advance. I won't by fuel in pa unless I have to due to the high taxes per gallon which is about .45 cents more per gallon then the adjacent states around it . I wanted a little more fuel to get me into Ohio from Maryland on good ole 68.

Could of been a data signal issue. I suggest that if you are going to get a fuel advance (and why wouldn't you?) You do so before 5 pm so if the app isn't working you can call your coordinator and have them load it. You can do this before loading if you have a late load appointment or a weekend load.

 

To get funds from any reserve accounts through mercer you must call them and register a check. Or they can transfer it to your checking account just like a settlement.

 

I can't believe we had such a hard time relaying this load. We have guys running dedicated and none of them would pick up this load n run it the total of 120 miles 60 there 60 back... I even took a big hit on the load to get someone to take it no hits. We was finnaly able to find a driver to do it...
