If you are an O/O or small fleet that has bought ELDS that malfunction, do not work, etc. Post here.

I hope that all these ELD (make money off ELD mandates) companies who advertise products that they say work but in reality are hundreds of upgrades away from working, pay if we have to pay at the scales.

    What do you guys think?

I guarantee you won't find a single truck with a working Rand McNally ELD50 junk. RM should be sued and it would take right lawyer to sue them for misrepresentation of their product.

I have a omnitracs one and that pos reboots itself like 4 times a day while driving, also sometimes I’ll go on duty at a guard shack, drive the 1/2mile to the building, get done in 5 minutes, drive the 1/2 mile back to guard shack and as soon as I get on the road and reach the 20mph it sucks back all that on Duty time and puts it as driving. It ads up when that 1/2 drive to the building was at 5mph.. loose about 20 minutes, drives me up a wall.. It only happens when u let it change to driving on it’s on, if I do it manually it’s starts then and leaves the on duty.. omnitracs is suppose to be a good one, atleast that’s what I told myself when I bought the high dollar ####### and pay the monthly..

Keep Truckin said they would give the 15 mph motion threshold, but never did. I can live without it but had I known that they would lie about it, I could have gone with somebody else while I could as AOBRD was still possible. I would not mind them to be class action sued for that so that they are spanked for being not trustworthy.

Multi-million dollar law suits have blossomed out of a lot less negligence than what these companies are doing.

It's important to know that all the money generated from any class action goes to attorneys and is meant to punish companies for being greedy a-butts-orifices.

The people who suffer usually get a $5 check in the mail after 5 years or so.

I'm still bitter over paying a couple hundred for the GeoWiz excuse for an ELD.
