T680 SXM satellite antenna???

    Does anyone know if all T680 KW’s come equipped with a combo am/fm/sxm antenna even if it did not come with a sxm satellite radio from factory? I’m in a 2018 T680 I’m driving for Dart and it has sxm and know one can tell me if that black mount at the passenger side rear of sleeper with the black sideways looking antenna is the sxm antenna? If so the 2018 T680 I’m buying without the sxm radio also has one on the back of the sleeper too? I even called KW MHC , that was a joke, got a lady give her both vins and she could not tell me where it was either, she was trying to say it was in the Cb antennas, I’ve never heard of a sxm antenna combination fm/CB/ sxm. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I don’t know why kw has to be so secretive with there info!

    Well. That's odd.

    It sure sounds like an xm antennae.
    That's exactly how and where mine is located on a FL..

    It's odd that they'd put that up there and not install an xm ready unit.

    The good thing is those little kits are only $32 on Amazon if you don't mind the old fashioned install.
    If it turns out it is an antenna.. GREAT.. save your new one. You'll need a replacement in about 2 years.

    T680 Xm antenna is built into the roof basically right above the drivers seat. this was not a very good system if your paint has any metal flake in it. signal is blocked or downgraded horribly by the paint.
    if you do not have this kind of paint then it appears to work.

    In the 680 I had it was the best xm antenna I ever used. The previous driver had brought the antenna cable out right below the head unit.
