Restroom access

Amazing how many places make no provisions for drivers. The best place I have seen is Akebono in Clarksville. You can't wait in your truck, but they have a decent lounge with tables, chairs and several vending machines. Usually very efficient and on time too.

 

I always leave a nice parting "gift" for the places that don't let me use their bathroom. You want to treat me like an animal? Well then I'll certainly act like one.

 

I completely agree with the sentiments (sediments?) displayed here. I feel for the company drivers who don’t have the freedom to load out their trucks like they want them. Personally, I got tired of the shape of all the public restrooms and installed a porta potty. The only bad part is finding places to dump it...the looks you get at a rest stop!

 

Those plastic shopping bags make the perfect exfeed bag, you have a handle on either side and sometimes they do not have a hole in the bottom.

 

Thinking about this from a legal perspective, I'm not 100% sure if it's not legal to take a dump on their property if they won't let you leave and won't let you use the bathroom.

 

HOPEFULLY, you do NOT get caught, arrested, and caged like an animal.

I asked the young girl that cuts my hair what that sign said. Now bare in mind her English is a little basic and Chinese sentence structure is nothing like English.

She said “oh that’s bad” but the rough translation is “Urine is not in the pool and you are short to urine outside the pool.”

I think it basically means “you really need to learn how to aim.”

It’s something along the lines of “Welcome to our ool. Notice there’s no “P” in pool. Let’s keep it that way.”

 

Probably "Come closer. You have not so long as you think"

 

Places like those described in this thread are the precise reason I keep a chemical porta potty on my truck. It's saved me from squatting in the woods before, but more often than not it just serves as a place to spit when I brush my teeth in the truck or as a slightly more elegant version of a pee bottle.
