If you lied, you aint getting hired period.

So what do you want? A chance to be hired or assure yourself not to be hired.

You tell the story as it happened.

Generally you do not stop on the highway. They ran through that back in the 90's and put a end to that.

Plan so that a minimum of 2 hours prior to your 11 being finished be inside a nice truck stop. It's going to take a little longer to get that freight in but you should not have anymore of that silly stack of e-violations on the ELD computer.

If they went over my life time of paperlogs in that 15 minute blocks im pretty sure all of it is a stack of bonfire filled violated somehwere beause the truckstop or nearest town etc such and such would have violated in ELD for sure.

You did one thing right. Did not stay on the side of the road. Someone may have rammed your trailer and died for it. People have a bad habit of doing that.

Ok I got to the bottom of this. The OP got caught with a blow up doll, a case of whipped cream, and a midget.

Not yet. We did not discuss the issue. They said I might get another Interview. This company must have a lot of drivers applying for the position. My last job I was hired 30 minutes into the interview.

    OK...

"I ran short on hours due to _______ (unexpected traffic/construction on the route... customer delay who then required I leave the property, etc.) and I didn't feel stopping on the shoulder was the safest thing to do so I drove over on my clock to a safe haven. The company felt I shouldn't have driven. This is why I have chosen to work here since I heard you guys put safety first."

Say "I screwed up, and didn't want to admit it to my last boss. (I'm guessing this might be why you were canned.) I learned two things. First, plan a bit more slack into my day. Second, don't try to ######## the boss over hours of service violations."

That’s harsh and in my country the company would find themselves in court. Here I would have to receive written warnings. After 3 they could fire me but without those 3 company gets sued. Been there done it!
