Took me years to get ahold of traffic manager. Via a 10 dollar Staples business 800 number listings on DVD. Pick cell phone and reach deep into the customer's traffic or actual warehouse floor boss handling incoming and outgoing. Bypass the giggling front desk pretty things.

Usually hear... "HOW DID YOU GET MY NUMBER> THIS NUMBER DOES NOT EVER &^%$ to DRIVERS.... etc"

SImple DVD once a year. We literally can pass a walmart store in say tyler texas late at night, wife pulls up that number on laptop calls night boss on cell gets the directions to DC 3 miles from town without stopping. Night boss asked HER HOW did we GET HER NUMBER? And where are we? "Just passed your store, on way to DC for your area..."

If you measured only once, then you're a fool.

There are two sides to every bridge, and the road under each side won't have the same clearance.

    You got lucky this time.

Safer not just two sides, but four corners IMHO.

My end dump with a mid roof 579 can clear a bridge marked 11'5"... (I am not vouching for the accuracy of the sign) But my CB antenna cannot as I have it just about 13'7" behind the sleeper middle of the truck... If the antenna starts to hit I stop and get out and look I can tell by how far it is bending how much room I have but I know it is not the same all the way through to the other side I learned this lesson the hard way by losing my stock SiriusXM antenna... Did you know they charge 4.5 hours to replace that thing at Pete?

I’ve dropped a tape from the top in Pt Jervis. Didn’t know what state we were in (pre technology). If it was NY, we were good, PA not so much. In the middle of measuring, I think it was a JB, flies under it. Good save Blair

You all are just cheap, I pay a guy 1.60 a mile to measure bridges for me, I also pay his motel bill.

He has this real nice pickup with a pole setup just to measure height .
Why should I have to get out and use a tape.
