Way back in the 70s, the Cordelia scale was closed to trucks one Saturday. Instead they had signs telling all buses to stop. Lots of gamblers specials plus the regular Gray dogs got inspected. OOS rate was around 60%. Mostly steering and brake issues. When replacement buses got there some of them were put oos too.
They should have buses go through scales all of the time.

They usually get the busses pretty good here during the blitz. It's pretty funny seeing a group of passengers change busses at the scale hahah. I find the majority of those bus drivers drive like animals

Come on, Old Skool. It’s only those dangerous owner ops with no money invested and no risk driving crazy. In 8 years, autonomous vehicles will be the only ones on the road, and they will be so safe, you can put a coil on a flatbed and tie it with a half hitch rope and be fine. No more chains and binders.

I once saw a brand new Ford 9000 get a OOS, being driven directly from the dealership.
