Im starting flatbed in 1 week after running reefers for almost 2 years. Id like to get into oversized stuff in a year or 2. What are some companies that pay well and run oversized stuff? How much more would you expect to make oversize vs regular flatbed? Once i get a couple years of oversize ill probably become o/o but thats years from now. Im just trying to figure out what the best road would be what companies.. thanks

The ATS driver I got unstuck last night was all about runnin for them. The pay seemed pretty low to me though @ .52cpm plus a third of the permit cost.

What company are you starting with in a week? Pennsylvania Garbage Truck (PGT)?
If you want to play football, go play for a real football team. Dont go playing for some no name community college if you want a chance at a Heisman or NFL contract.
"Hey Six, I don't really understand what you're saying. Plain English, please."
If you want to pull OSOW, dont go to work for one of those companies that dabble in OSOW, like TMC and Maverick and Swift. Go to places like Keen, Midwest out of RochesterMN, Lonestar, Combined, Systems, Rinauldo, Yarborough, JK Hackl, and SPD. Work your way up and then decide if you want to go pro. -
Well Heavy haul will definately pay good...I do $125k a year paid a flat rate per day...working for smaller family run business...pulling a 2/3/2 with a tandem tractor.

I would NOT recommend Rinauldo. They will destroy you. Keen is good stuff though.

Miller transfer and rigging in rootstown ohio.

I was looking at this company since you mentioned it and I have thought about going heavy haul and I'm in OH. Do you know if they would train someone on flatbed and so on?
