Starting out in September, having the hardest time trying to pick the "right" company. Anybody have an opinion on any of these 3?
Keller, Halvor, Melton..which one?

Nick Strimbu, Inc. in Brookfield,OH is Teamsters Union with full benefits package. They hire new cdl grads and have tuition reimbursement.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PI&I Motor Express - also Teamsters and hires new cdl grads. Masury,Ohio. Keep in mind, Teamsters outfits are strict on giving out dispatches/loads based on seniority. The postitive is that Elogs have evened the playing field a little for the newest drivers.
Oldironfan and Faintestidea Thank this. -
If you want to run the roads, look at:
Freymiller
Magnum Ltd.
Faintestidea Thanks this. -
Decide what kind of running you want to do.
Long haul, cross country?
Short, stay close to home
How often do you want to get home?
I can tell you Melton wants you to stay out 3 weeks and get one day off for each week out. They also have driver facing cameras, if that matters to you. -
The camera thing would matter, not comfortable with that
-
Scratch them then.
-
Keller logistics has 1 also, but only activates if slam on brakes, etc..
-
Melton has cameras, however i did my first year with them and made 57k. Granted i stayed out 3-4 weeks at a time cuz i have plenty of mouths to feed, but dont think i woulda made that much anywhere else my very first year. If u turn out to be a runner they have plenty of miles.
Zer0chick and Faintestidea Thank this. -
3-4? I’m stay out 6 weeks I also eat nails and #### bricks. They can watch that with the driver cam.
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
