Yes he had a minor accident. And then the text was found. The case that you speak of and a few others was why drivers started getting a second phone. Or burner phone, I've lost count of drivers I've seen talking or texting. And I know of drivers having to turn in records for less than $1000 in damage.
-
Probably not if they are not at fault for the damage. Stop messing up trucks because of complacency, problem solved.
-
There is no such thing as privacy any more. There are cameras everywhere, even on your cell. So you won't be able to scratch and sniff your underwear without someone knowing about it.
-
Sounds like a personal problem.
-
Hmm, so supposedly the inside camera isn't on, but everyone received a memo that according to company policy we can't cover the inside lens?
They will be checking for this during truck inspections.
I guess @MACK E-6 was right, my sun visor will soon have a notch cut into it
-
I saw where they couldn't be covered with adhesive or obstruct the microphone06driver Thanks this.
-
Can not put tape on them 0r obstruct the microphone. Tape could screw up the lenses and we do not own these cameras.
Drop your visor, or put a babys knit hat over the inside. In a pinch a sock will do.Coover Thanks this. -
Also the napkin I use to keep peoplenet from rattling coincidently covers the camera on it
-
Nice one. My passenger sun visor stays down 24/7 and my Peoplenet has a small piece of paper clamped over its camera using its own mount.
