If it does not turn around by the next stockholders meeting they may just do that.

Well of the 19 drivers that I would talk to only two are still with WMT. So if GS was ousted and everything returned to normal. Would the drivers come back in droves. Or would WMT Say no and hire all new hands?

Well you know the principal, it takes years to build up integrity, professionalism, moral, and image.
And that can be torn down and trashed in a matter of months. Seriously all the hatchet man does is come in artificially inflate the stock prices in his favor, cashes out and leaves company destroyed and in a cluster F*** .

Any doubters look at his track record. No idea what WM saw in this Hack

Should have just had a backup plan if this job fell through. Good thing we have some kind of faith in walmart.

If Walmart wanted it, they could take all those good drivers back (the ones that quit in good standing) and give them their seniority back. I think a good 20% would come back. Lots of drivers quit because they thought Walmart was getting rid off the fleet. I was getting ready to look for another job myself.

I can understand allowing the drivers back more easily than a new applicant but if Wal-Mart, in fact, did get rid of the fleet, they wouldn't have looked back. Maybe if they want their job back, assuming where they went didn't work out better than here, they can have it but not their seniority. Quitting is quitting regardless of how you look at it.

A: You would have a revolt of the drivers that stuck with them.

B: It has always been policy if you quit, and reapply you receive no credit for past employment.

We had a guy try and reapply but he had a preventable a year before he quit. He is really throwing a fit. The thing is he could have kept his job but he chose to go to Old Dominion. Now he wants back but fails our hiring criteria. If he stays out of trouble for four more years he can try again.
