Go by the engine not the truck. here is what i know for certain.

Detroit ddec 2 or newer works with qualcomm. Ddec iii and newer works with keller(so should ddec2 but i don't know anyone personally using keller with a ddec2 so won't say it well for certain.

Cummins N14 celect works with both.

    Cat 3406e works with both.

Pete, when I had mine done last year I paid 1.5 hours labor. You have the parts so its a quick while you wait thing. Let someone else risk their pecker skinners.

I'll work A21CAV, take it to a shop. Lol. Some little piddly stuff I'll do but for the most part I've got better things to do than work on the truck. That's what mechanics are for.

I was talking to my neighbor, an oilfield driver here in South Texas, and mentioned tomorrow is the first day of summer even though we're already close to 100° every day. He said he bought a bunch of shirts that cool as you sweat.

Thought you flatbedders might be interested. Check out www.arcticcool.com.

Alright guys I have a question, the current company that my wife and I drive for is wanting us to lease our truck on. He is a good guy ( the owner), and id like to work the truck local to get the little bugs worked out, but to do so I have to install a wet kit, he is willing to pay everything including fuel and pay me %50 of what the truck makes. Which is $1080 a day 5 days a week. 12 hour shifts. I average 250-320 miles aday. Again the only thing I would pay for is maintenance on my truck and 1099 taxes. Keep in mind I have no truck payment. What do you guys think.
