I talked to one of their drivers, they said all the new trucks at Schneider are going to be equipped with fridges and APUs,

They’ve got white, black, silver, red as well as orange, even seen some Pete hoods up in Montana once, I think they were dedicated to a customer though.

Schneider all the way between those two. Schneider is offering a $10K bonus for drivers in Phoenix at the moment.

i wonder about schieder tanker division, not that i want to go there..... i just wondered if they have proper 18 speed transmissions or if they are still bare bones 10 speed. im in a tanker, and if they are anything like our milk tankers...... my truck is registered for gross weight of 102K lbs.

Go tanker.....you'll be glad you did.

Do Schneider bulk for a year, and better doors will open to you. Two years with them, even better doors.

    Maverick Griff Thanks this.

Schneider doesn't need 18 speed transmissions because they don't run back roads and old farm dirt roads like you do hauling milk. @ad356

    Werner vs Schneider

i assumed the reason for the 18 speed was the weight and the hills, ALL of our trucks are either 13 or 18 speed with some autoshift (the autoshift are "ultrashift 18 speed"), to my knowledge we have no 10 speed trucks. i assumed that the loaded tankers weight about the same. there are plenty of situations when im not on a back road and i still need to split the gears....hills exist everywhere. unless they have 600 hp 10 speed trucks for their tanker division, which i seriously doubt. i run max legal gross weight 102K
