What would be better for a team operation at mercer van, flat, or step

Depends on the team. There is a thousand different ways to make money at mercer. But there is also a thousand ways to go broke. Just to many variables at play to say that one is better than another. But there is one constant I've noticed, those that have the knowledge, experience, and aptitude to thrive with a step aren't asking which trailer is better.

They have vans, and a dozen or so reefers. But open deck is their core base.

My wife and I are currently team drivers at R+L.. we gross over 4k a week together but drive 6000+ miles to get it. I'm very interested in Mercer. I'm ready to reduce our miles, but make at least the same money.. do you guys think that's possible teaming at mercer? With the expenses of being an o/o..

I'm interested in knowing this too. We're working on my wife's first year out here then we're going to try for r+l or oldf. Then eventually move on to O/O if that's what we want in 5-7 year mark.

Good luck. Hope it works out. Would like to see the outcome
