    No i don't. Although Teamsters have just recently reached an agreement for the UPSF contract, none of the details are out yet.

    I heard one of the drivers from my dc quit and got hired there at $40/hr. Do they normally do that? Take a driver from say Wal-Mart and start them at top pay?

    No they will NEVER hire anyone right into top pay rate. Everyone has to go through progression to reach top rate. The company would never do it and the union would never allow it.

    How. Many years experience do you need in order to get a line haul job at ups?

    Most likely 1 year experience is necessary. @Russian Rabbit can you give you better answer. He currently works for UPSF

    i think 1 yr is a safe bet. Considering how much difficulty we're having hiring drivers, they may even stretch that.

    But 1 yr is generally the minimum requirement.
