Misprinted license takes driver off road

Thomas Volpi of Defreestville has a day job that's all brain. He is an architect for a state agency. It's demanding work, but it's office work. That's why he so looks forward to his part-time job driving a truck, where it's physically demanding but not as taxing on his intellect. For the last eight years he has delivered fuel oil on Saturdays in the winter. First he worked for a friend's company, then went to another firm when the first company was sold recently.
"I look forward to doing it," said Volpi, who once spent six months as a cross-country truck driver.

"I love it. I love driving," he said. Also, it's extra money. And working for the oil company means that his family gets a discount on oil for his own furnace. It's a good deal all the way around.
