Don't know if this has been covered, but I just learned today the rules have changed. I pull a pneumatic and we're really busy right now. I've been working 12-14 hour days the past couple of weeks, and one Saturday (GASP! lol). I don't have to run these long days, but I get paid by the load so why not bank while the banking is good!
Anyway, I had enough time on my 14 to get to my delivery tonight, but knew I would only have around 30 mins after I was empty (takes about an hour to offload at this place) and I live 40 mins away from my delivery. I called the boss man and he said "No problem, you can go on personal conveyance. He said they changed the rules and sent me the link. Sure enough, you can pull an empty OR loaded trailer as long as you're relieved from duty and not going to the customer. I was empty and going home.
Nice to see that rule got changed.

While pc worked, any reason not to take the 16 exemption? Sounds like you would qualify.

Nice to know about the pc rule change, however. -
I thought the 16 was weather related.
