I really wish quik trips would expand everywhere. They would give every other truck stop a run for their money. QTs are sooooo much better than the rest.

Can someone do me a favor on your voice is heard today? I’ll be making a delivery in 30 minutes so I’m not gonna be able to participate. Can someone ask about the Orlando yard that we’re supposed to be getting soon? I’d really appreciate it
-
Just wanna know when we are getting it.

St Joe to Fontana, flying j in Albuquerque tonight, preplan from LA area to Denver suburbs.
No, a.c. isn't fixed. Wouldn't fail for the tech so he couldn't replace the part he suspected. He told me if it was what he thinks it is, when it fails I can cycle the temperature knob from hot to cold a few times and it should start working. It messed up a few times and his trick has worked!
Cool!!! Literally.paul_4lp, mitrucker, hollywood76 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Current CFI drivers, why did you choose CFI? I've been off the road for 10+ years, and now that the kiddies are grown, I wanna give it another shot. I have conditional offers from CFI and Schneinder, just weighing my options before I pull the trigger These two companies made it to the top of my list because I don't want to do the team training stuff.

Cfi may be the only company I’ve ever driven for but it’s also the first company that I’ve ever actually felt like I mattered. Cfi has a very big family feel to it and I by no means feel like just a number in the mine tunnel digging away to make the big boss more money. They’re constantly giving us more raises and bonus’s and they have fairly good new equipment. (I do wish we had apu’s or fridges pre installed but not many companies do that anyways so I didn’t make it a deciding factor) I original came to cfi thinking I’m gonna get my one year done get my school paid for and then go off to a better company but with how well cfi treats it’s drivers. Im very much more on the side to stay with cfi for as long as I can now.RoadRooster, larryh31 and Cerberus XVI Thank this.

Wife and I chose it for many reasons. The main ones being
-short time with trainers 7500 miles or about 3wks and we were done. Didn't have to be apart long. (This doesn't apply to you u suppose lol)
-the pay for rookies is pretty #### good, for having no experience in the business they start out higher than most. (Again may not apply to you)
-No BS is the next reason we joined. Every other recruiter we called just wanted to blow smoke out there butts and bash other companies and just stupid recruiting jargon. CFI laid everything on the table up front and I really loved that.
--super lenient pet policy
- the sense of pride and family that they showed when we were in Joplin. And even now.
Things that have kept us here.
--they will bend over backwards to help you out. They will get you home when you ask, they will literally do what they can to keep you happy.
I mean like I said I could go on and on forever. But overall this is a great company and I couldn't imagine working for anyone else. The day I leave CFI will be the day I decide to stop driving.subseaguru, RoadRooster and larryh31 Thank this. -
Thanks for your honesty. I/m getting the impression that the smaller and mid-sized companies treat your better than the mega cariers do.RoadRooster, hollywood76 and Cerberus XVI Thank this.
