I’ve worked very hard to earn the kid glove treatment.

Well not really.

 

I would say something...but I respect ya' too much, mainly because even when I was at my most negative, you never took your comments down the dark road. Plus, they'd probably be deleted by the Mods anyway...oh wait, did I say that out loud

 

Got my last check from them today, with my healthy .03 cpm bonus on it. Only thing I have to hassle them about is my pet deposit. Apparently it takes the shop 2 weeks to handle the invoicing and release of the deposit??

 

I no longer need to bend over to tie my shoes.

 

All this talk about kid glove treatment... got my first paycheck today for my new job. Starting pay rate is 88% of what the run pays until you work up to full scale which takes 3 years for LTL. Was making 40 cpm at magnum, my performance raise put me at 46. Im now making over 50cpm, locked in. Working less, making more, doing nothing but turn and burn drop and hooks. Home everyday and 2 days off a week. To say im happy would be an understatement.

 

What LtL company did you end up with?

 

R&L, running line haul, but they are going to move me to city in 4-6 weeks supposedly because thats what I want to do.

 

People need to find a small company that cares about their employees!
