Ever delivered fuel to a truck stop? Some of these guys with their paid reserve and entitlement attitude feel like they can park ANYWHERE they wish...including on TOP of the fuel drops.

In my opinion I think doing something other than sitting in a seat and turning the steering wheel when necessary is getting to be too complicated for some. I personally love those reserved spots and I am the one that gets out, moves the sign then puts it in front of my trukk when done parking. I personally don't think it's right seeing one parking spot with 10 of those signs sitting in it. It might be a bad habit or the way I was raised but I always try to take the next person into consideration when doing anything. Having said that I occasionally have my FTW moments but then hours or days later I'm still thinking I could have been a better person than that. I unfortunately am a believer in "If you're gonna do something,do it right or don't do it all. My 2 cents.

I don't know about the attitude of those who pay for parking but I am glad the option is there and sure will continue to use it.Some drivers are lazy not to move the cones in front of their trucks leaving them on the side spot for someone else. So when the last one comes late at night, he has to move a dozen cones out of the only one spot left.
I don't care that there are some drivers frustrated of the fact that the owners of private lands want to charge for using their property. That's their prerogative. I'd do the same, if I were them. I can afford $15 a spot and hope that it will be too expensive for others so that the price won't go any higher while I can book a spot always and anywhere. It works for me.

Years ago, almost all of the Petros and a good portion of the TAs had the booth attendants. When that TA in Laredo opened up its parking lot, that’s when the trouble began. All the little, cheap, nasty bastiches that used to stay at the Peelot and the Hook crammed into that TA. The lot got trashy and there was a 6 hour wait for a shower every afternoon. And then the oilfield trucks use the parking lots for a terminal and suddenly, there’s no parking. I HATE going into a truck stop, fueling up, and not having a place to park. I quit stopping at any truckstops at or near Laredo. Stay on the yard and get tacos from a Stripes or a food truck.

Lots of time, I will need 2 spots. Sometimes, I will need 3. If reserved parking guarantees me a spot or three, near my shipper or receiver, I don’t mind paying.

Well I hate paying for a reserved spot. It just frosts my button. Nothing worse than planning my trip. Getting to the truck stop at the end of day. Only to see "reserved" parking has 20 empty spots, and the entire rest of the lot is full. Now that said I do not mind when the whole lot is paid parking. Just get my ticket find a spot. Spend $20 or buy 50-60 gallons before I leave. Think they should do away with reserved spots and just make an all paid lots. I sae that interview with the new ceo of ta/petro. Complaining profit were down. Guess he never heard of more profit by lower prices. Or gouge a customer and they wont soon forget.

I’m like @TripleSix and other guys. If paying ensures I got a spot or two I’m fine paying it. If I had drivers leaving nasty #### all over my lot I’d charge to park there too.

Time marker - 9:30 for the poop in a bag thrown out onto the parking lot by a professional trucker.
