yes if you stay home and wait for people for decide to start picking parts off the truck. Sometimes it is better to just take what they give you and be done with it. Concentrate on the new truck. Dealer will pay, waiting for individuals who never seem to have the money on hand is a real P.I.A. to deal with. Or they'll offer to pay you weekly, etc. Not worth it.

 

Absolutley INSIST the wipers and washer be fixed, those are DOT/State inspection items and dealer are "supposed" to sell the truck with a fresh inspection in most states. Mercer sure wouldn't pass you so you'd have an immediate repair. Overall that is not a big job, they should do it, and if not, exercise your option to walk away. There is always another truck out there.

 

Yea they are gonna fix it they are gonna have T&E fix it if they can if not dealer will

 

Make sure ABS light works. Mercer number 1 hit item.

 

So waiting 2.5 hours so far for Mercer to tell me what needs to be done to buy some tires. Good thing I started this process @ 0900.

 

What is the holdup? I bought tires couple weeks ago and it was a fast process.

 

does an apu have any kind of dpf on it ?

 

Ya, same here.... The girl said they were in a meeting and they would call back. Gonna give them till 1300 then I'm on my own. B's as far as I'm concerned.
