Gotta love it when you get in line at Blue Beacon and the 4 trucks ahead of you are reefers and all of them get a washout only.
Then you pull up and say you want tractor, trailer, and washout. Oh the look of in their eyes for ending their easy streak.Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
1700 miles total paid between these two trips 700 of that has been empty. 400 of loadedwas 20000 lb.
Not complaining at all -
By the way here's the importance of documenting everything.
I had to pick up at JBS in Greeley. Load window was 10 a. M. To 1400.
I get there about noon load is not ready. I call at 1500 since no one called me load is not ready. Send a freeform to dispatch to let them know.
I proceeded to call every couple of hours while sending the messages to dispatch. I then get a message from dispatch about 1 a. M. Saying the load is ready.
The bills have a big 1700 written on them. And the printer timestamp says 16 30.
So I happen to be at the terminal whenever detention sends me a message asking me about the load. So I go talk to her and apparently JBS is saying load been ready since 1630. but I have both a call log and Qualcomm messaging saying I called all the way up until 2230 and was told the load was not ready.
So because I had all of that documentation I got full detention for it without a fight.Aamcotrans and scottied67 Thank this. -
