Yeah the 5 hours i gotta be there getting my inspection and waiting on letters. I Don't wanna sit inside the building so its sit in my truck or sit on my flatbed.

5 hours inside a building with others might not be a lot to some people. To me it really is im a very very shy person in person. I don't like being around people i don't know. I would rather be locked in a jail cell lmao

 

A good reason to have an AC air condition like an overhead and run off a generator or be plugged in at the yard and use their electricity. Not just big houses have overhead air condition. Even an apu is a big savings on the engine especially if you have emmisions and causing regen more often because of idleing long periods.
Kinda part of modern day trucking.

 

I have an APU but i gotta get it installed My last truck had the Roof top RV AC system so wasn't a issue at the yard(Think i've been there 7 times in the 3 years ive been here)

 

Do i gotta log when i drove 220 miles to pick up my truck?

 

I didn't log the trip to get it but I ran a paper log to get it home. Mercer never asked about it.

My new truck is a full roof wouldn't be room for it
