Would someone explain what Schneider's current starting .cpm is for new drivers for the first year? Also, do they allow dogs. I will speak to a recruiter in a few days regarding future prospects, but would like to know this information before doing so.

I started at Schneider after school running JC Penny loads (clothes mostly) out of Cbus. They run out of the old JCP outlet store near 70&Brice. Its a really good gig to start out and learn on. The pay was somewhere in the .35-40/cpm plus load and per stop pay, usually three stops per day. The only thing is its a night gig but you can make it work if you don't mind the hours. I used to do my run then immediately got to the sleeper for a few hours then go home, eat dinner with the family, then nap and head in around 11pm.
CJ701 Thanks this. -
I live in Wooster, OH.

It depends on where you hire on and what account you go with.
Roughly mw regional starts inexperienced at 38 cpm, tops out at 48. An extra 2 cpm for loads under 200 miles, 10 for loads under 100, and $35 Plus straight mileage for under 50 miles.
Otr has a higher base rate, but less shorthaul pay, dedicated depends on the account.

I still do drive for CFI. I am asking for future reference/opportunities once I finish my 1 year commitment with them. I'll be looking for Midwest regional options.

I ran these loads a few times. Mansfield to Greensburg, IN. and also Marysville. It was drop/hook once you were loaded in Mansfield.mickeyrat said: ↑being in wooster , look into the honda dedicated. operates from mansfield.Click to expand...

I only asked you because I have followed you on the CFI threads and enjoy your progress. I totally understand the reasoning behind regional driving as I live in Florida and always wanted Southeast Regional but was hard sometimes with most load opportunities. Good luck to you in your future. -
I was born in Orville Ohio. Big rivalry between Wooster and Orvilledoninwooster said: ↑I live in Wooster, OH.Click to expand...
