That’s by design. Same crap happened to me when I started. They forgot to turn on your Comdata. Had to call On Road to get it turned on.

Acrually.. They gave me the wrong g card. Wasn't even the same number. The other person in orientation probably got mine. Lol

Steamboat springs co. At a pilot that's designed for cars. No real parking here for trucks. Had only 1hr15m left so I made a slot. Will have to fill one tank only. Going to slc ut.
Sent me thru the back roads. 333 mole to receiver from here -
I usually go out of route if I won't have a place to park for the night. Or decline the load in the first place if there are no other options.

Not much going on today. Picked this load up I. Cedar city ut Tuesday nite. Then drive it here to jurupa valley terminal yesterday early afternoon. Hoping to call it but sent me a of pre plan that I refused due to time issues.
So will leave around 1530 today to deliver in Huntington beach for a 1900 appt time. Hopefully traffic won't be real bad.
Have a pre plan that picks up in perris ca tomorrow at 1500 going to Boise it for a Monday 0800 appt. A lot of time on this but as of now I have 17.15 on 70 for next 2 days. Stay safe everyone -
Perris ca. This load p/up here going to Boise id for a Monday morning delivery..
They routed my up the 93 instead of 95. Called dl (mine on vacation so whoever answers phone) and asked if I can go the 95 instead. She said no. Only changes route if roads are closed. -
Can't you just go basically anyway you want within reason?
-
Never ask, just go your own way they won't even notice. Even if they did just say you made a mistake and it won't happen again (til the next time). lol
-
You can take an alternate route as long as that route isn’t waaay more miles. I do it all the time. When you need fuel just stop at a TA/Loves and call and ask for a fuel reop. The fuel routing that comes with the dispatch makes zero sense sometimes.

Don’t you need a permit on 95?
