I think it would be goofy to have a system added to the top bunk just to save $300 when you could have the dydnasys AC that's a little box under the bunk lol.

I dont think it's about the 300 bucks. I think its about cooling capacity. There are several reports how the dynasis can't keep up when you get down in the south.

Top bunk is a waste of space. I usually remove mine as soon as I get a truck. I'm considering putting my split system on my truck in the future. Right now I'm happy with how my Dynasys has worked. If the Dynasys can't cool my truck then no other Apu will be able to so it's either $1900 for a roof top or $700 for the mini split, which I already have.Highway Sailor Thanks this.

That's interesting. Mine cools just fine.
-
Eh my wife will be sleeping up there haha
-
I was thinking about it but have not put much effort into researching it yet.

I took my upper bunk out also and made a storage shelf works great.RStewart Thanks this.
-
what brand of split system did you go with?
-
Which APU do you have?
-
What's just fine to you might not be just fine to another. Mine cools the sleeper pretty good but it doesn't cool the can hardly at all.
What? That bed is big enough for both of you.
Yes sir. Only way to do it in my opinion.
Don't remember. Lol. I'll look next time I'm home and report back.Highway Sailor Thanks this.
