    So now that private fleet will have all of Gas City anyone looking for a job in NE Indiana, Western Ohio there will be plenty of open trucks.

    I wish we would take over all of our grocery period. Maybe one day.

    Wow, I didn't see that coming.

    I guess all the lack of service, and tearing up equipment became too much.

    We got word last week one of them was going 100% PF. I was hoping for 6062 because they are always having issues, and the DC is about 8 miles from the house.

    Now I just hope they can get it staffed and running proving we need to be 100% Private Fleet everywhere, and only using outside carriers during peak.

    If walmart would stop using these pathetic mega carriers who hire anyone who has pulse and maybe start hiring co's that hire drivers who actually give a darn..

    They tried using an all O/O company at least once that I know of. Bottom line is no one has as much skin in the game as Walmart and their drivers.

    The 1.5 million associates might disagree. The 1000+ food banks we supply might disagree, the hundreds of charities we support, the veterans families we invite when we place wreaths on the graves of fallen brothers might disagree.

    But it is your choice.

    If they offered company paid relocation, I’d consider transferring to 7055. The drive from my house to Gas City would be farther than to 6017.
