Why do truckstops not stay all full (Glass half empty, glass full...) when they are crying for parking 24/7?
-
.....Maybe for the same reason a trucker will go through a rest area in the afternoon, pass by eight empty truck spaces, then park on the ramp leaving the rest area?
Muddydog79 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
It took me a good 5 minutes to get in this spot I'm in at the TA in Vegas.
Like 5 pull ups, only GOAL once.
There was a flatbed come in, and it took him at least 5 minutes, GOAL once, about 8 or 10 pull ups, and that was with me spotting him.
He probably would have bailed without help.
Street is LINED with trucks.
Which is ok with me, at least they aren't tearing stuff up. -
When I see all of the trucks taking their 10 on the ramp I'm thinking....."I bet them are the guys that crap in their truck every day".
Blackshack46 Thanks this. -
Because when he got there the lot was full. Since he was the last one in, he'll be the last one out. All the people who got there early and got a spot in the lot will leave first thing in the morning while he's still sleeping, thus it makes it look like he parked out on the road when there were spots available when, in fact, there were not.
Ask me how I know.homeskillet and Puppage Thank this.
