I'm looking for simplest route from Fargo ND to Sharon PA and avoiding as many toll roads as possible. I was thinking taking 94-35-80-65-30-71-76/224
Would that be feasible route or there's better one?
    Appreciate your input

Not sure where 35 you mention is unless you mean i39?
i76 is expensive till route. 80 is better in PA.

80 has 1 toll by Chicago.
I94.illinois line take us41. Get back on I94. (About 10 stop lights it's a 4 lane divided road.)
I65. Than the route you have.

    Google maps.

    He's taking about I76 from I71 to I 80. No toll there.

Save a few miles by taking 18/218/380 out of clear lake, ia. It's all 4 lane.

94 to il border, 41 back to 94, to in 49 time us 30 to 71 to 76 to 80, no tolls, avoids Iowa, but Chicago best done late night to early morning unless during sports events, then avoid. You can take us6 from 57 to 94 though the south burbs if you come across on 80. Takes about 15 minutes extra.
Avenue of the Saints, but going through Waterloo on 218 adds a few lights and takes off several miles compared to taking the route through Cedar Falls, which has a short stretch of construction as well.

    mitmaks and fargonaz Thank this.

    ND - I94
    MN - I94
    WI - I94, I94/41/43
    IL - US-41, I94
    IN - I94, IN-49, US-30
    OH - US-30, I71/76, I80*, US-62
    PA - US-62

*near Youngstown, apparently it isn't a toll route

That'll be the shortest, easiest way to get there. But the US-30 through Indiana is a trash highway. There is 36 traffic lights between Valparaiso and the Ohio border. Whatever you save on the tolls for the I80, you'll be spending on fuel stopping and starting for the lights.

It doesn't cost $70.00 in fuel .Extra to run the non-toll route.
Then Indiana toll is another $50.00

I'm just guessing, I don't run the toll roads. I pay enough road tax already.
