Has anyone going through the process been called yet for orientation? I'm just curious, it's been like almost 5 weeks for me. I haven't heard anything or called them to check on my application. The ABSS Site they use for background checks says "eligible for hire". I'm wondering also, if anyone working there now knows of a recent orientation class or any that are being scheduled in the near future? Also, if you don't get hired for whatever reason, do they notify you of not being selected? Sorry about all the questions, Thanks again

They are doing a new process that is supposed to shorten hiring, but right this moment seems to have HR in a mess.

But yes they will notify you one way or another.

    BFL123 Thanks this.

Same boat as you, Walmart site says "under review" even though I did my road test early august. I might give them a call in a couple more weeks to see what's going on. I'm in no real rush but would like at least an answer so I know what my next move is.

I would call the DC you are hiring through. They are changing the method of on boarding. Basically they are running all the background checks first, so there is an overload on one end and a lag on the other. However the squeaky wheel.might get an answer.

    Samx1 and BFL123 Thank this.

The DC I'm trying to hire out of said they haven't received my record/drug test info from my employer so they are waiting on that. At my current employer everyone seems to drag their feet and "forget" things. I'm going to have to bug them daily to fax the info over.

To the OP, you should try giving your DC a call if you haven't heard anything.

    06driver and MilkyJay Thank this.

Safe to assume you’ve been hired on?

As well as the other commenters? What was the process?
I’m playing the waiting game now
