I have espar, love it. Keeps me warm -15F no problem

I run an espar bunk heater. Never touched it in 10 years now. Run it occasionally in the summer and probably everyday in the winter. I have 4 batteries in my truck and they last around 3 years before they start to get weak. With the additional small engine heater it should start anywhere without an issue.
bourbonst79, KB3MMX and Gumper Thank this. -
Have had both, find the espar units to need less maintenance. If needed, the overhaul kits are not expensive.
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
Sounds like espar is the way to go. There’s a couple dealers close to me I’ll have to call. I’m betting I’ll wind up installing it myself to save some cash unless someone gives me a good deal.
