We have the TND 760 “Fleet Edition”. Up until a month or so ago, it wouldn’t trip to the drive line until you drove 3 miles. After the most recent update it will trip as soon as you cross 5 mph.

It’s usually not an issue because we’re pretty much a 8-10 hr day, 5 day work week outfit. But, I couldn’t help recalling my old reefer days and pulling into a big place like a Wally World DC and having it trip just moving through the DC.

Most likely was originally in AOBRD Mode. Once it was switched to ELD, you have the 5mph threshold. Takes a little getting used to. Just remember, if you don't want to mess up your consecutive Off Duty Time (for the 30-minute break or Shift Reset), DON'T MOVE THAT TRUCK unless you're in P/C (if your company has made it available to you).

The 30 minute break is the one I’ve been hosed on once or twice before I figured out what was going on.

We do have PC. I don’t think I’ve ever used it. In fact, other than having to do the 30 minute break, my clock is normally on the drive line or on duty line.
