I was with Harold Ives from February of 93 until July of 98. Was the best company of the 3 I worked for in 20 years. Steele Pollard who was my dispatcher for all the years I was there, and he ran me as I asked. I logged a touch over 700,000 in the 5 1/2 years I was there.
Mary Lou owned Terminal Truck Brokers, large brokerage company specializing in Riceland
Rice. and Goya Rice.
Best company I wworked for in the 20 years I drove, hands down.Capt. Fantastic, Trash Hauler and Chinatown Thank this. -
I worked with them straight outta trucking school
my trainer(jim) didn't care for me because I wouldn't roll through stop signs. I left there and went to work for Zero Motor freight. I remember going up 81 late at night. I went to shift to a lower gear and ended up stopped in the middle of the interstate. oh if you could have seem the look on my trainers face when he came out of the bunk. He got us to the side of the road and immediately lit up a joint
Man that seems so long ago. -
I got my start with Harold Ives from their school to later become a trainer, Harold Ives taught me how to become more than a steering holder especially with the mail run from Middleton, Ct. to Little Rock ASAP delivery. God Bless that company as well as M,S, Carriers two of the best money making companies of the past.
RockinChair and Chinatown Thank this. -

WisWestern Thanks this. -
I know this is old but was trying to confirm what I used to hear about that company years ago by several Harold Ives drivers even when they were still in business. What I heard was the Clintons had their fingers in Harold Ives.
