LOL! Good point, but I believe "bypass" is the concept. I understand drivers from one of the local companies I am considering and is considering me refuse to go through Chi Town. I am not looking to run into unmarked low bridges saying "the company GPS routed me there" as I have seen posted. I know I need to be able to deal with whatever comes my way but I am also looking for the opportunity to learn these things and be successful - not set up a prescription for failure. Maybe it is too much to ask / hope for. Preferences are just that. A company which allows their drivers to avoid a known cluster rates pretty highly in my book.
Just saying...
Halvor Lines =/

There are better companies out there that pay better than Halvor- some of which are literally in your backyard if you’re based in Milwaukee.(Roehl,Marten,Martin’s,etc.).
Do thorough research before signing on with any company. -
Thanks! Will do.

Early in my career,I was always worried about Chicago. Then started going there, and it's no worse than any other large city. You learn where to go, where not to go, all is good.
loose_leafs, mjd4277, Marc Lee and 1 other person Thank this. -
I felt the sameway about Chicago, now I worry more about getting shot then a low bridge.Lonesome Thanks this.

well then, you better cross halvor lines off your list, because everything you don't want to do is what they do all the time.Marc Lee Thanks this.

I have always worked for huge companies (UPS, Coca cola) and have never had any of these problems. Why do people keep falling into these traps like there is no other options? Lol. Do I and have I had to put up with crap at work time to time...yes....that's why they call it work lol. That being said I have been paid every penny that I was owed for the past 20 years.Frank Speak Thanks this.
