Florida panhandle road closures?

    Anyone got any updates on major road closures in the Florida panhandle area?
    We are packing our bus up with supplies and chainsaws and heading up in the AM to help clear the roadways but am wondering what roads we can take.

    Yesterday, as it was heading into GA, I had heard that I-10 was closed in places between Tallahassee and Marianna due to trees and debris across the road. Marianna had wind gust topping 100 mph.

    Use google maps and turn on the traffic layer will be a big help

    Florida must have a DOT type website

    But many noted closures will be short term and some will be long term.

    Take plenty of spare gasoline but protect it when you’re not around or it will go walking.

    From FL511.com, "All eastbound lanes of I-10 are closed from US 331, mile marker 85 to the Appalachicola River at mile marker 160. All westbound lanes are closed from the Appalachicola River to SR 77, mile marker 120."

    I'm a trained First Responder and the hubby is a retired First Responder so hopefully that will allow us to assist in clearing the roadways.
