I have some specific questions.
1. Their web site says .24 to .36 cpm over the first year. Is that scheduled at .1 cpm per month increase?
2. Do they pay practicle miles or HHG?
3. Is that Per Diem or non-Per Diem?
4. I've read here that you can't use an inverter. Is that just the wiled in kind? What about the small ones that plug into the cig outlets?
5. If you don't want an auto shift can you request a truck with a 10 speed?
6. Do they have forced dispatch? I wouldn't turn anything down but NYC if I could.
It seems to be an alright company for newer drivers.
Thanks ya'll.

as far as inverter its ok as long as its not hard wired.
They go to NY but not in the city.
The truck you will get is luck of the draw. It was policy to atleast for the first 90 .
days it wold be a ten speed man. But I have seen new drivers leave in autoshits.
You will not get paid Practical miles. I dont know what they use but figure on 10% off real miles.
Solo drivers begin at 26 cents per mile. At 3 months, pay will increase to 27 cents. At 6 months, pay will increase to 30 cents and at the end of 1 year, mileage pay will be 34 cents
That pay is the 2009 year. In 2008 you started at 27 cents and it went from there
I hope that helpspanhandlepat Thanks this. -

Per Diem at USA is .0225cents. In other words if you were starting at .26cpm and took the per diem you would be getting .2375cpm. It would show on your stubb as .1375cpm and then .10cpm substinence. The .10cpm is your non taxable income. Basicly you're paying the gov .0225cpm to say you only made .1375cpm.
