One thing I have found is just like leather boots if you keep up coating the leather that makes the gloves last way longer. I also like to break in a pair similar to a baseball glove, throw them in the oven for a bit get them pliable then put them on and mold it to your hand, then throw on a sealing coat and go from there. I've gotten way long use out of them that way once thing that always is really harsh on them (Well anything it contacts) is salt we do a ton of ice control and that really tears up gloves big time.

If you’re going to buy gloves with some sort of lining, you have to buy the expensive ones where the lining is glued or sewn into the outer shell. Nothing worse than gloves where the lining “comes out” when you take them off when they are damp or wet

Glove and boot dryers come in handy.
MACK E-6 and Blackshack46 Thank this. -
Harbor freight form fitting mechanics glove , I think it's like a 3 pack .

I agree with the idea of buying the cheap gloves that's what I do and then who cares how long they last because you're not really out any money versus paying $40 for a pair and they tear up

I buy the gray leather palm ones.
1.79 a pair a Wallyworld.
About 20 bucks a year on gloves.
I can't see spending big bucks on gloves. 30 bucks for a pair then leave'em on the fuel island or on a customers dock or something ? -
1. Leather work gloves for fueling and dirty work.
2. Padded weightlifting fingerless gloves for driving.
3. Clean cloth gloves with nonslip grips for the rare times I touch cargo.
4. Light cloth gloves shoved in the pocket of all my jackets for brief cold weather exposures.
5. Stupidly warm sheepskin gloves in case I have to be exposed to very cold weather for a long time.
I rarely use any of the gloves other than my fueling and driving gloves.
I replace my fueling gloves the first time my hands are dirty AFTER I fuel (gloves are saturated with fuel and oil/grease.)
