A&w express a.k.a rays transport

    The ad i applied for said "$1400 average company drivers $6000 average owner/ops" i got the company position and never came close to $1400.BTW thats 7 straight weeks with one day off.during this time i was asked to go to canada with an ungoverned truck and was told by the owner to go around the scales in canada. on 3 different occasions i had trailer repairs needing done and was told to make my way back to the yard.bad tires lights missing a blown airbag are just some of the things im talking about.in the 7 weeks i had 4.....yes 4 different dispatchers.if d.o.t was to go to the yard in taylor michigan they wouldnt find one legal trailer.not to mention i over heard 2 of the owner ops saying he doesnt report ifta taxes.this company is the reason why we have csa2010.and to top it all off the family run business is all middle easterns.go figure,come to america so you can cheat the system!!

    Yup its very true. I was an owner operator with this company for a year. In the beginning; company was doing very well they gave me good loads but all of sudden their CSA rating went down and from there on their bad time started. Ray a man originally from is the owner of this company and his wife Lisa and lady. The way they were operation this company was very shady. Originally they were operating under A&W name but then when the rating went down they started operating under Ray's transport. when i started with this company they took $2500 USD as an escrow. and then when i was ready to leave this company because of poor CSA rating because i got pulled over every scale i used to go through they held my escrow and never gave it back to me. It just did not happen to me only there were 4 or 5 other owner operators that i know that Ray and Lisa never gave their escrow back. In other words Ray and Lisa are crooks, they do business in a very shady manner. They try to take shortcuts for instance they would tell you to bypass scales will send you to canada even if your truck is not goverened, if you do make the mistake of pulling one of their trailers you get a ticket due to some inoperable safety device and you did let safety know about it. even then they won't pay your tickets. In other words your CSA score is not worth driving for this company and you will not make any money in this company.

    How true. Just left their company. They are to dirty to be hauling food refers. Still waiting for 2 truc. 5000. Escrow. 90 days paid for plates for a year and went reimburse 11 months remaining. Always told to pull their broke trailers somewhere for repairs they will get you in trouble

    I don’t know, but I hope he’s telling the truth. I just LOVE unvarnished truth and, if this is all true, we now have 5 years worth of it. How cool is that?

    It's unfortunate a few bad ones will destroy a company. A few good people at Ray's. Law says 60 days to return escrow Ray's says 90
    Paid 019 plate in 1 month with 11 months remaining for them to run with should reimburse me but they dont.
