Keep pushing for more money than your work is producing and that gives companies more reason to push for driverless/robot trucks.
The current pay structure right now is just fine and any driver that keeps this in perspective will agree.
Drivers that make poverty paychecks are either incompetent or can't manage money.

Okay you do realize how businesses work, right? Business offers a job, says this is what we pay and what you get out of it. You decide if the risks are worth your time. If they are, you do the job. That's how businesses and jobs work. So what exactly is your point?MartinFromBC, tscottme, Crusader66 and 1 other person Thank this.

We need to get paid more than the going rate of pay and the companies need to stop playing games with the home time and pay ,Companies advertise one thing and do another and when a driver quits the job to better the life thier family the driver is penalized and that is just for starters and it needs to stop , Most drivers I think deserves to make more 4 to 5 hundred dollars week and that’s why a majority of drivers quit because they are promised more than that just to get them in a truck. I can honestly speak from experience.

Companies need to stop missleading
jinxutoo Thanks this. -
Don’t feel bad - I read the post 3 times and missed the point. Posted in ‘Discuss favorite trucking Company ‘ - I guess I’m a novice, or not very bright today.

I’m just trying to get the drivers to wake up and the companies to stop playing games and maybe there won’t be a driver shortage. That’s my point.
jinxutoo and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
Novice driver, lol.
It seems that you are being a drama queen as posted and I see your a novice poster.
"Going to jail or getting killed"? "Lives and Freedom"? Really? There's risk in every job, granted some greater than others, but if your climbing into a truck everyday worried about going to jail or killing somebody and money is the driving factor behind it because you think your risk is greater than someone else's you might be in the wrong profession, imho.
A "Professional Truck Driver" gets behind the wheel in his/her truck everyday and does what they need to do to be safe, it's part of the job and goes without saying and to the old timers it's why they were called "Professionals". I never got into a truck and thought, "I hope I don't go to jail today" or " I hope I don't kill somebody today", I was very confident in my abilities and paid attention so I never thought about it like that, it's everybody else you have to watch out for and if you do that the rest of it falls into place.New/OldSchoolTrucker89, Sirscrapntruckalot, BigDog Trucker and 6 others Thank this. -
That what you stated is true and it seems like you almost got the point so I encourage you to keep trying and maybe you will figure out what I’m trying say . You almost got the pointjinxutoo Thanks this.
