Guaranteed Transport

Is the northeast really that bad? I lived here my whole life so I guess I'm just used too it. Just don't make a wrong turn in Glen Falls NY.

 

I actually liked going to the NE just for the challenge of it ( minus LI) but it is a time waster if your getting paid by the mile. Not to mention the sketchy neighborhoods many of my customers were in.

 

I'll take the Northeast before Cali any day of the week. I can think of exactly two legit truck stops around L.A. and they were packed when I rolled through. I've never seen so many poor ######## parked on the side of the freeway for a 10. I ended up on a side street parked legally but nothing around for food or showers. I danced in my seat as I left the state and accelerated to 65.

 

I work for him at VTC and he's never been anything but nice to me and my family. I've talked with a few drivers from GTC and they seem to like it over there. I've never had to kiss anyone's butt over here to make an outstanding paycheck plus benefits. I realize they are 2 different animals. Here our freight lanes change sometimes...you gotta go where the work is. I go all over the North East. Not my favorite place to drive but they are all roads and I go where the money is. And as far as the article you posted that happened in '03 and everyone makes mistakes. That doesn't make him a bad person just human.
Out of 500 drivers here and however many over there how much time did you actually spend talking to him to form that opinion of him?? You seem kind of bitter in your posts... you're not one of those guys that could get paid $10,000.00 a week to sit at home and complain your butt hurts are you??
