@jamespmack , Running 300 miles around Chicago has been my thing for the last couple years.

I’m currently in Brownsville Texas. On my way back to Colorado.

So things have changed.............

There are tarp loads posted from Chi to Indy for $400.

 

Yeah some of these rates are downright insulting. I mean there's cheap, which happens and we all know why. But seriously some of this stuff is just ridiciurouse.

 

Yes, looks a little sketchy on the outside but clean as a pin on the inside. Super nice folks in there.

10 miles from base. I delivered to the new hospital there.

Now why do they expect to tie up your truck for a whole day for $400? Cause of tards that'll do it with a smile and... er I better stop right there.

 

I don’t remember if I posted this or not. So I will again anyway. I don’t know anything about them but the owner said it was a chevelle Malibu. He said they were not many made that way. Idk myself but it was a nice one.

 

Well, if you add both your deadheads together and then send one of hours to Denver to load it is still less than either of my last 2 deadhead moves....

 

Well used trucks are selling like hot cakes, If you look even on TTR almost every post is, I wanna buy a truck, or I bought a truck now what? But I still think brokers are skimming way more or banded together. Fuel is up, insurance is up, cost of operation is up. I'm not lowing any rates. In fact I'm charging more or riding the couch!

I know I see that bull hockey. Well they all them guys will go broke in time and we will be back to normal. Im even seen new brokers that I have never heard of. Weird.
