I tell you i clear between 2 and 3. Show you a settlement of 4+ and am still being met with disbelief.

Can anyone here understand simple math? My 1st grader knows that 4 is higher than 2 or 3. You guys are complicating this way more than it needs to be.

No one is saying you are lying: those of us who have been out here awhile have heard it all before... we just doubt..... I know a lady: same as you who avowed the sane thing: come to find out she “forgot” about her freaking taxes due...

If you have the time, I would go thru @freightwipper thread on the choice board. See what he posted, and how much garbage he got on cherry picking numbers. Then look at @rickybobby thread on numbers from 3 years ago and compare the two.

Right now you appear to be advocating lease purchase deals, thus all the flack you are getting.

All right. Let me make something perfectly clear.

If you think you’re posting inside a limited bubble, you’re wrong. Dead wrong. You’d be surprised who reads these posts.

    Maybe your business partners.
    Maybe your business peers.

Maybe the very people contemplating the same business path you’ve chosen. And to the unknown reader you must be true.

The ‘lurker’, that surfaces as the ‘first time poster’ - considering a LP with Wil-Trans / the only information he/she has is from biased sources, that is internet searching for more factual information?

You’ll never know. As non forum members they’ll never ‘thank ‘ or respond. But they’ll read.

This became apparent to me after a while when I started a thread documenting my transition from company hand to O/O. When you look at the ‘views’ and do the math - you soon realize your obligation to the truth.

Any other ego driven motivation must be discarded. Win or lose, right or wrong, there is no room for fact or fiction - it needs to be fact.

    Part 2.

Year over year is helpful. I’m assuming you have a full 24 months of figures to display. You realize as well as I that the market is cyclical.

You realize that the deck is fully stacked against LP deals. I, on the other hand - have seen hands utilize them as a vehicle to full ownership and independence. But the people I know are few and far between, and serial killer calculated in their approach.

Basically - I’m unbiased and open.

But you have to bring facts, and truth.

Again - kudos for hanging in there with the (CB) internet rambos.

The more i think about it, the more i realize i have nothing to prove to you folks. Even if i did, you'd find something to argue with me about. I have perfect vision and i can clearly see that what i said in post 1 is true. This thread has been an exercise in futility and there are already far too many of those threads here.

I feel like im the only adult in the room trying to explain to a group of children why the ice cream man charges money for ice cream.

Seriously, i had a conversation with my 6 year old last night. It went something like this...

Him: Daddy, when are you coming home?
Me: Ill be home in 4 days.
Him: so youll be here in 3 days because you dont count today!
Me: no, ill be home in 4 days. 1,2,3,4.
Him: actually youll be here in 2 days because i dont count today or the day you get home.
Me: Sure buddy! Whatever you say!

So, im out of this jungle gym. This is my last post. You are very welcome. It's obvious to me that most of you just want to argue with me as an outlet for your own short comings. Whether its because you tried and failed or because you bought into the anti lease op propaganda. Its apparent to me that you are unhappy with your life choices so you try to smear your self misery onto anyone else who seems to be somewhat successful. I'll just leave everyone with these parting words...

SURE BUDDY! WHATEVER YOU SAY! :)

Well, it's an internet forum where ppl use pseudonyms and make all kinds of claims.

One thing is clear though, if you make a claim you better be able to make your case in a clear and concise manner because there's some pretty savy dudes on this site who will poke and prod if something doesn't seem right, especially if they don't agree with one's premise.

At which, sometimes you just have to agree to disagree and move onto another thread, subject or interest.

That's if you even choose to do so. Which in your case, you've decided to discard the whole lot of us. Which is cool too!

    I wish you well!

He posted in another thread it was Jim Palmer.
In that thread he said he averages 4500 to the truck but has seen as high as 7700.

Yeah, I posted a link to their website this afternoon. They claim the average lease op averages 1200 to 1500 week after truck expenses in their program.
