Yep, some hard pulls across there but I’d run it. Others might disagree.

I’m starting to feel the same, my hackles get up when I see the know it all responses, I try to temper it with sarcasm . . .

Pete’s been a good boy! Pete gets treated to whatever Pete NEEDS, and NOTHING Blair WANTS.

I’m about to coordinate sending it in for a transmission rebuild, rear structure reseal, clutch, flywheel etc. Change input shafts to 18** torque, and go through it.

Doesn’t need it, just one less thing to fail.

Any suggestions while we’re in there?

Well thank you Sir - I’ve been REALLY good since I was taught to learn we mustn’t berate our Prime L/O’s. !!!

Not sure @Old Man is quick enough to pick off all the fast moving targets , as fast as this thread moves.

    He’s a bloody good chap.

    Catching up again...

Regarding the suicide thing, I also agree that it's a permanent solution to temporary problems (outside of terminal illness). @TripleSix is correct when he says we all have to battle demons at one point or another. Personally, I have clinical depression so it's what I live every day (HOORAY GENETICS). I take natural supplements for it (5-HTP and SAM-E), because I refuse to get put on any prescription bullcrap when there's an effective alternative.

I lost two friends, within a month of each other to suicide back in 2017. Didn't understand it at all, and I was pissed off at them both for doing it. Felt really bad for their families, and most of all their kids. Was the usual thing, too. Both seemed fine just before and then WHAM. They were gone.

    " Target Rich Environment " ring a bell ?
The best part about it is the Targets in here don't get upset about being targets. Yet, anyway.

I reserved comment, and aside from a brief glimpse into my personal dealings with it, will continue to do so. Not everyone who ends their life does it for "selfish" reasons. We lost a nephew 8 years ago. Nothing selfish about it, it was the result of a traumatic brain injury from a drinking and driving accident. He lived with an altered mental status every day after that.
One of my own children has tried 8 times, unsuccessfully so far. Maybe next time, it will be successful, who knows. Again, the past attempts have not been for "selfish" reasons, but mental health issues. My wife and I, along with the rest of our family have made peace with the fact it may happen. Not ideal by any means, but still a real possibility.
I'm not here to change anybody's opinion any more than anybody will change mine. When the opportunity for civil discussion presents itself, here and in the real world, I urge people to look past their own beliefs and consider reasons beyond just the "selfish" ones.
That's about all I'll say to that. We now return to our regularly scheduled programming.
