It's delicate. Glass that stressed has a ow.
What it will TRY NOT TO DO is shatter into a thousand little bitty diamond sharp flooding your eyes, nose etc. There is a certain temper treatment that it will try to break across the board in what I consider many cracks but one sheet if at all possible.
Some of the absolute WORST injuries I have ever had was from actual plate glass that when it decided to crack, it created pretty much absolute sharpest edge ever. The last time a section broke loose on my workbench and headed for my body I had to move like a 8 year old or get carved in half. It hit the floor. That would have been a interesting death by bleed out in the liver stomach region. Once the two vessals are punched, I begin to bloat to about 5 feet across in the 2 minutes or so prior to death after the heart empties out.
To this day I am grateful I was where the glass ain't however there was some internal injury moving that fast so I don't use that type of glass (Workbench related to model work, glues and solvents don't know how to stick to it, making it very useful to foundation build buildings etc.) until...

you need to be lone gone before it decides to find gravity and move fast.
