Called Nastc. It is 300 a year. I had the lady look up in GA and today the TA in Cartersville was at 2.63 vs 2.87 with their card.
In Houston it was around 2.49 vs 2.87 a gallon.
That is a big savings. I'm OTR. Anyone else with Nastc or RTS fleetone? Or anyfuel card you would reccomend.
If you burn 15,000 gallons a year saving .20 off each you save $3000
If you save .22 off that is $3300
Say I would avg .30 off with Nastc.
That would equal $4500
So seems it would pay for itself.
What is your input for a one truck show?
How is comdata? Thankyou

I started using it under one truck, now larger and still use it. I've been seeing .65-.72 off a gallon in Ohio and Indiana last week and this week. It's the only card to use for us small outfits.
HopeOverMope and Midwest Trucker Thank this. -
Yes NASTIC. 2017 I averaged about $380 a month in savings on 1 truck. I only drive about 90k miles a year at 6.4 mpg though.
Bear in mind that’s off the CASH price. Not the credit price. So maybe even more if your using a credit card at the moment?Midwest Trucker Thanks this. -
Is that $300 yearly fee per card or per account? What are the other transaction fees for nastc?
-
Idk if the fee is over card but they dont charge you a fee if you are in network.
$2 fee if out if network. Fuel at T/A Petro and 900 mon and pops. The annual fee makes you a member for other things as well. But yea. It is a bit pricey but fleetone charges $75. So comparing apples to apples with savings. Maybe this Nastc is the bet for me. -
How do you search your fuel stops?
Is the app work well? Or is it a PITA to search for fuel stops? -
There is a monthly charge too. Like $8 or something?
The app is just by state than city then HWY then exit number.
Once you know your area you know where to fuel. Then it’s easy you just look it up for pricing if you keep track?
The savings are bigger when oil prices are going down and smaller when oil is on the rise.
I know about 5 or 6 of the best places around my area then, I fuel wherever I know they are members when I’m out of my area. I don’t search the app to often anymore other than to check the pricing to write the discounted pricing on my receipt after I fuel.
After the first year I think it’s only $250 not $300? -
Do fleets get a massive discount off fuel at Pilots/Petro?
Did you read this thread? @TIMPTE 527 posted some info about the card he was using. -
No ####? Wow. I inquired recently with NASTC too. How hard is it to fuel at the correct places though? Do you charge your fuel to them and then pay the bill each week or how does that work?
I use Comdata and I’d have to figure it all up but I think I’m only getting 10 cents on average. Nothing at Loves. It says I’ve saved $22,000 this year but that’s on around 10,000 gallons per month. With rates going down I gotta tighten my game up.
Wonder if I could use nastc at Certain stations and Comdata at the others? These discounts y’all are talking about are very significant. -
Know a few people using NASTC.
Lately the discount has been in the .70 to .75 range off cash price.
They do have an app for locations and prices. Seems to work well.Midwest Trucker Thanks this.
