It idled itself out of fuel at the rest area.Al. Roper, Slowpoke KW, 7-UP and 19 others Thank this. -

Thanks @jamespmack I needed a pick-me-up. Almost crushed between two trailers, some jack-wad in a rest area.
I was walking from passenger side to back of truck to walk around to driver side.
Some (won't say Name of company) just say. (Sure Wished I Finished Training)
He was backing up into a drive thru parking spot. 99% of all rest areas. He was on cab side saw the spot next to me and decided on a blindside back.
Im Watching for trucks to come from the back side of all the trucks. Not from. Cab side. (behind me). What saved me was he hit his brakes once. And I heard the air release and spun to hit the corner of his trailer and part of his dot bumper. I dropped on ground and rolled under my truck. No where else was safe.
He decided it. Was to. Much hassle and drove off before I could see any numbers.Slowpoke KW, 7-UP, Feedman and 17 others Thank this. -

I'm going to try to drop this load and dead head home to drop trailer and take this rental back. Being tall and no leg room setting straight up is killing my back.
@blairandgretchen being early 2000s fld is likely a 60 series possibly n14.Slowpoke KW, Feedman, Zeviander and 10 others Thank this. -
@blairandgretchen
Couple ideas. First a lot of that year fleet freightliners had a Alliance fuel filter spin on that only comes from freightliner on the frame.
Second what impound/tow company os it at? I may know them.
Third I'm 185 miles away. If my back and neck can handle that long of a ride by then.Slowpoke KW, Feedman, Zeviander and 15 others Thank this.
