OOIDA liability/cargo insurance?

Well anything with the name Mccarran on it must come from Las Vegas, and anything that comes from Las Vegas must be controlled by the mob. ITS A CONSPIRACY!!

Been with OOIDA for just over a year,it’s a fact some brokers won’t take the insurance,for many reasons but usually boils down to brokers,shipper,receivers making false or lousy cargo claims in the past and OOIDA is just like the ex wife in divorce court,going to fight them every step of the way! I’ve been turned down by 5 brokers once they see my insurance, I can literally do without the low paying loads them brokers had anyways! Still grossed over 100k running whenever I want to! Big names like Landstar and that’s whichever Landstar you choose cause there’s a thousand of them,Circle 8,Ryan Trans,Global Trans and a bunch OOIDA will give that do not accept the insurance. I’ve hauled for many brokers that are big and small and nobody cares which insurance I have as long as I’m insured! It’s about half the annual cost as most insurance companies! The rating excuse is for the birds! OOIDA pays out for accurate and truthful claims whether it’s drivers fault or not! Just prove your claim instead of filing papers begging for someone to save your tail! Bad Brokers are a thorn in the side of the shipping industry!

 

Out of curiosity, did you happen to check the credit of any of those brokers who wouldn't take OOIDA?

 

Twice I did, they were less than 93 on DAT score, the big one was L.S. Which I’ve heard bad things them.
